Patrick McIvor Joins Matrix as Artistic Color Director

New York –- Karrie Fonte, Assistant Vice President of U.S. Education for Matrix, a division of L’Oreal USA, announces the appointment of Patrick McIvor as Matrix Artistic Color Director, starting June 1, 2009. McIvor is owner of patrick mcivor color studio, Bethlehem, Pa., and studio two, Allentown, Pa. He is among the most respected colorists in the industry, having been named “Best Colorist” by Allure magazine.

McIvor will join the Matrix Artist Network and continue in the tradition of Arnie Miller by providing industry leading salon-based ideas and techniques geared toward helping salon professionals transform their passion for beauty into professional success. McIvor specializes in innovative salon-based haircolor techniques that inspire hairdressers to achieve great color. He will also spotlight the Matrix C.R.A.F.T. philosophy with hands-on, interactive, self-empowering education focusing on communication, resources, approach, foundation, and technique.
